DEEP: essential practices for a fluid body

Foam rolling? We love it! Because it addresses those first layer kinks we all experience in neck and back, hips and shoulders, knees and feet. We’ll start our time together moving through essential foam rolling. But under that first layer, a whole world of deep letting go awaits.

Come feel the many creative ways double tennis balls give you the profound release you’ve been waiting for. Special additional focus in this session: your psoas muscle and flossing the nervous system. You’ll immediately feel the impact of these simple, pleasure-filled techniques on your mat…and in your life.

Two tools required for participation will be available in class for trial and/or purchase.

 3 foot foam roller: when it comes to myofascial release, using correct density, so important. Please bring your own if you have one and know that four densities will be available for you to try.

 wrapped tennis balls: to go deeper and access the sticky soft tissue next to full spine, enmeshed in organ body, deep in hip, below knee and between shoulder and hand.
