Writing By The Well is a 4-week Journal Writing series for women, designed to help the writer strengthen the inner voice along a spiritual journey. Journal writing is a spiritual practice that allows one to find and align with their inner gifts.
This first Writing session will go a bit deeper as we will explore what happens when our creative fire goes out, motivation disappears, the fire cannot be found, or it burns our energies to the ground.
Working from the book "Women Who Run with the Wolves," we will meet the fierce Baba Yaga who holds the fire and will learn from her what it takes to hold the fire! The Story of Vasalisa, who had to travel to meet the Baba will be told. Her story is every woman’s story. We will write with her on our journey.
There are many kinds of writing and this session is to write “to heal”, to discover the blocks, to endure, to nose out the facts, and to soak up some of Baba Yaga’s fierceness. We will learn through story and through writing the steps needed to take to heal and to write. Each story is unique and original. It is yours.
