When we say we’re “tired,” it usually refers to physical and/or mental exhaustion. When we say we’re “wired,” it usually describes a restless, hyperactive mind that comes from overstimulation and, often worry and apprehension.
Imagine the end of the day when you’re so physically exhausted that you fall into your bed, yet mentally you have many dialogues going on in your head at once. We’ve all been there.
In this workshop, you will experience Contemplative Practice® Yoga Nidra, dissolving physical tensions and mental worries, resting into deep layers of the body. It is a practice of remembrance.
The evening will start with a grounding Yin practice, a discussion about your experiences of feeling “tired and wired,” and an introduction to Contemplative Practice® Yoga Nidra and its distinctive elements. Then, our practice will begin with some opening postures, followed by this Yoga Nidra in constructive rest.
All levels welcome, no yoga experience necessary. Please reserve early to ensure that we have enough props.
Space is limited.
