In this workshop, learn a restorative yoga practice to unwind accumulated tensions in your body, then enjoy the healing and restorative effects of Contemplative Practice® Yoga Nidra. This unique style of Yoga Nidra guides you through the remembrance of your true essence, which is joy and love, as you enter a state of greater ease and tranquility.
The deeply Restorative yoga practice, which will open our workshop, is rooted in Contemplative Practice Yoga® principles, and introduces modifications of traditional yoga postures that decompress tensions in the body, diminishing discomfort and dis-ease and focuses on releasing (not stretching) the tightness in the core of the body.
These complementary practices are integrative and your body is fully supported throughout, allowing for softening and opening. In these stressful times these practices are crucial in providing balance and ease for body, mind and spirit.
Suitable for all levels of practitioners. No yoga experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing. Space is limited. Pre-registration strongly recommended to ensure adequate props.
